Hyderabad HVAC news, project updates & company announcements

Updates from the ECS team in Masab Tank — sites we have handed over across Hyderabad, energy-saving guidance for Telangana buildings, and news from inside the company.

Project update

GRT Hotel Zibe II, Hyderabad — guest room and restaurant HVAC handed over

ECS completed the design, installation and commissioning of ductable air-conditioning, fresh air and exhaust systems for the guest rooms and restaurant at GRT Hotel Zibe II.

Our team finished the hospitality HVAC package at GRT Hotel Zibe II in Hyderabad, covering ductable air-conditioning for the guest floors along with toilet exhaust and treated fresh air systems sized for full occupancy.

The restaurant block was executed in parallel with a dedicated kitchen exhaust system, grease-rated ducting and balanced make-up air so that dining areas stay comfortable while the kitchen remains under negative pressure.

Air balancing was carried out floor by floor and handed over with commissioning reports, filter schedules and an annual maintenance plan for the hotel engineering team.

Project update

Virtusa Hyderabad — AHU chilled water piping retrofit completed in live campus

Old chilled water connections were replaced with new MS piping, valve packages, insulation and aluminium cladding across the facility without stopping business operations.

At the Virtusa Consulting Services campus in Hyderabad, ECS removed ageing chilled water line connections feeding the AHUs and installed new MS piping with complete valve packages and manifold connections.

All work was staged over weekends and night shifts so the occupied floors kept cooling through the changeover, with temporary isolation and pressure testing done section by section.

New insulation and aluminium cladding reduce condensation and thermal loss, and the added valve packages let the facility team isolate any single AHU for service without draining the loop.

Hyderabad summer load: five ways buildings cut HVAC energy bills

With peak Telangana summer temperatures pushing chiller loads, these five low-cost measures reliably reduce consumption in Hyderabad offices and factories.

Hyderabad buildings see their highest cooling demand between March and June, and most of the waste we find during audits is avoidable: dirty coils, choked filters, leaking dampers and chilled water set points held far lower than the building needs.

Simple BMS scheduling changes — optimum start, night purge and staged chiller sequencing — typically return five to fifteen per cent savings without any capital spend.

Variable frequency drives on AHUs and pumps, correct fresh air quantities and periodic air balancing make up most of the remaining opportunity. ECS offers a free walkthrough survey anywhere in Hyderabad before recommending any retrofit.

Telangana's data centre and pharma growth is reshaping HVAC demand

New pharma, data centre and IT capacity around Hyderabad is raising the bar for clean-room ventilation, redundancy and monitored building automation.

Expansion around Genome Valley, Hitec City, Gachibowli and the Shamshabad corridor has changed what clients ask for: tighter temperature and humidity control, documented validation and continuous monitoring rather than basic comfort cooling.

That has pushed building management systems from an optional extra to a baseline requirement, with alarms, trending and remote visibility expected from day one.

ECS is engaged on projects across these sectors, combining HVAC execution with BMS integration so that a single team owns both the mechanical and control scope.
